Guesthouse Pramen

 

 

The family hotel Pramen is situated in very closeness of Vinne lake, 12 km from the district town Michalovce and 70 km from the city of the region – Kosice. We offer accommodation in five double apartments and four double, triple and quad bedrooms. An obvious part of each bedroom is a bathroom with toilet, a fridge and a TV set in apartments. The hotel interior suggests pleasant family atmosphere. There is a restaurant with a large choice of meals, with venison and fish specialities, a saloon and a reading-room. During the summer months, the offer is extended by pleasant sitting in a beach snack-bar with a lake-view. The hotel surroundings and Vinne lake create ideal conditions for families with children. In the surroundings, there are more tourist paths including the path to nearby ruins of Vinne castle. Five minutes by car there is the dam Zempinska Sirava.
Vinne lake lies in beautiful surroundings of Vihorlat Hills. Its situation creates an impression of a mountain lake, however, with climatic conditions of Vychodoslovenska lowland. It is ideally protected by the surrounding forests. Whereas the lake area is quite small, the lake is marked by warm and clear water. It is surrounded by its characteristic beaches. At Vinne lake, there are a lot of style snack-bars amd restaurants, a tenis court, sport equipment renting-house, a beach volleyball court, children place. There are also a boat and water bikes renting-houses. During the winter months, the water area gets changed into a large ice-rink. There are nice routes for cross-country skiers around the lake. Before the World War II, this natural system served for recreational purposes and fishing, which is very popular at present as well.
