The family pension * Real * is located in a nice environment of the village of Žiar, situated at the foot of Žiarská dolina, one of the main units of the Western Tatras. Žiarska Valley is the center of popular hiking and cycling trails. It is a sought-after center of tourist exits on the adjacent mountain shields of the Western Tatras, which include mainly the exit to Žiarske sedlo, Baranec, Plačlivô and Baníkov with the possibility of visiting Žiarska chata. Other tourist attractions of the village include a typical Slovak mountain chalet with a restaurant located above the village and is just 1 km away from the Pension Real. Salaš is open all year round. In the winter season, there is a ski lift “Dolinky” with artificial snow in the village Žiar, 1200 m far from the pension. Within a radius of 20 km are all known ski resorts: Jasna, Závažná Poruba, Liptovský Ján, Podbanské. Nearby is the famous thermal swimming pool in Liptovsky Jan (8 km) and the thermal swimming pool Bešeňová / 20 km / s all year round. Visitors have the opportunity to discover a number of cultural and historical monuments / Museum of Liptov Village in Pribylina /, or natural phenomena in Demanovska Cave of Sloboda and Ice Cave.
